The Seller creates handmade jewelry, primarily made from chainmail and inspired by medieval, fantasy, and dark fantasy worlds.

2. PURPOSE

These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all product sales made through the website shimmeringchains.shop.

Placing an order implies the Buyer’s full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

3. PRODUCTS

The products offered are handmade pieces of jewelry. Each item may feature slight variations, which form an integral part of its unique character.

The photographs are intended to represent the products as accurately as possible but cannot guarantee perfect similarity with the product received.

4. PRICES

Prices are stated in euros (€), inclusive of all applicable taxes. VAT is not applicable pursuant to Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

The Seller reserves the right to change prices at any time. The price charged will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed.

5. ORDERS

Any order placed through the website constitutes acceptance of the prices and descriptions of the products available for sale.

Certain creations may be made to order, particularly according to the Buyer’s neck or wrist measurements. In such cases, the Buyer is responsible for providing accurate measurements.

6. PAYMENT

Payment is due immediately when the order is placed.

Accepted payment methods include bank card, PayPal, and Stripe.

The order shall only be considered confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

7. PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY TIMES

As the jewelry is handmade, certain designs may require a production period. Any production and delivery times provided are estimates only.

Orders are shipped to the address supplied by the Buyer. The Seller cannot be held liable for delays or losses attributable to the shipping carrier.

8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Buyer has a period of 14 days in which to exercise their right of withdrawal, except for personalized or made-to-measure products, pursuant to Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

Made-to-measure or personalized jewelry, including items made to a specific size or according to a special request, cannot be returned or exchanged.

9. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Returns are accepted only for non-personalized products that have not been worn and are returned in their original condition.

Return shipping costs shall be borne by the Buyer.

The refund will be issued within a maximum period of 14 days following receipt of the returned product.

10. LIABILITY

The Seller cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from improper use of a product.

The jewelry is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content, including texts, photographs, creations, and visual materials, is the exclusive property of the Seller.

Any reproduction is strictly prohibited without the Seller’s prior written authorization.

12. PERSONAL DATA

The personal information collected is necessary for processing and managing orders. It is neither sold nor transferred to third parties.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Buyer has the right to access, rectify, and erase their personal data.

13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first seek an amicable resolution. Failing this, the competent courts shall be those having jurisdiction over the Seller’s place of residence.
